Obituary For Barbara Jayne
Barbara G. Jayne, 84 from Hendersonville, NC passed away on October 30,2022 from a short illness. Barbara was born April 6, 1938 in Marshall, NC and was raised in Saluda, NC. She was the daughter of the late Marion and Grace Gosnell. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Alma Jayne; and all of her siblings.
She is survived by her granddaughter Stephanie E. Pace of Hendersonville, Timothy Clark Pace and Matthew Gillis; her beloved cat, Boots; three children, Deborah Fazio of Hendersonville, Charles Jayne of Hendersonville and Douglas Jayne of Ocala FL.
Barbara retired from GE and loved making people laugh. She enjoyed watching Westerns and animal shows. She enjoyed gardening and sitting out in the sun taking in all the pretty flowers that were planted for her this past Spring. She loved to sit and talk about her childhood and how things have changed. Miss Barbara lived each day to the fullest, doing what she could to make life better for someone else. She was a very giving kindhearted person.
