Obituary For Candice Jean Adams

Candice Jean Adams, 66 of Apalachicola, FL passed away on Monday, May 2, 2022 surrounded by her loved ones at the Elizabeth House in Hendersonville, NC. She was born in Greenwich, CT on January 11, 1956 to the late Elaine Pierce Smith and the late Charles Schmaling. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Steven Harrison and two sisters, Linda and Pat Schmaling; and her step-father, Ray Smith.Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Scarlett, Stephen and Stevie Harrison, Emily and Claire Adams and Desire Langone; grandchildren, Kaylyn Stone, Kaynyn Dewberry, Maddix Paul, Harrison Hopkins, Shiloh and Maddison Harrison, Emma Babbs and Neaveh Hopkins; great-grandchild, Leighton Stone; one sister, Tammy Hampton; and special friends, Holly Furr and Emily Sullivan.     Lifting you all up in 🙏 prayer!! Your Mother/Grandmother was genuine & a sweet individual. Will cherish the memories we made but, most of all cherish the legacy she left . May God continue to strengthen you all and give you peace. 🙏

    Oh my heart is breaking for this sweet family. I am so very sorry to hear this, although I never got the Honor of meeting this Amazing Woman I have had the Privilege of knowing her Wonderful Children. And oh, what beautiful, Wonderful Children they are! She had to be so, so extremely Proud of each of them and so blessed to have been their mother. Rest in Peace Sweet Angel, may you rest in God's arms. Prayers for the children and Grandchildren. I love you all so much. And I am here if you need anything.

    Prayers for you all! So sorry. Very thankful to have known Candy and all the times we got to hang out back in the day. Definitely grateful to have experienced her cooking first hand. Candy was a great lady! Love you all!
