Obituary For Christopher Allen Satterfield
Christopher Allen Satterfield, 61 of Hendersonville opened his eyes slightly, drew his last breath and passed away peacefully with his fiancé’ Marta Osborne by his side on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at the Elizabeth House in the early morning hours. Born in Dunn, NC but was raised and lived the majority of his life in Hendersonville and the surrounding areas. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lynette Jarrell Wolk and his stepfather, Jack Wolk, and his father, Joseph Penn Satterfield.
Chris as he was known by those that knew and loved him was a man of honor. He followed in his stepfather’s footsteps, joining the US Army and served during Desert Storm as a Ranger. He was granted an honorable discharge from the Army after sustaining injuries during his service.
Surviving to cherish his memory is his fiancé’, Marta Osborne, brothers, Ronald L. Satterfield of GA and Matthew Raynor of Banner Elk, sisters, Debra S. Willingham of Dunn and Kimberly A. Satterfield of GA. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews that he greatly cherished.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
