Jennifer-Like Mike, I enjoyed Danny (aka Tank) beginning 7th grade. I was god father to Tim and he was a groomsman in my wedding. We played countless rounds of golf and deltmany hands of poker. He was a charter member of the garage club. A true friend for life. Preston Edwards

Dan and I were both only children. Ballard and Mildred would invite me to go on trips with them so Dan would have someone to do things with while they were doing something else. I enjoyed the whole family.

Dear Jennifer, I was lucky to be in school with Dan in the 7th thru 12th grades. We played football together. He was a fine young man whom everyone admired. I'm very sorry you have lost him. I also regret not coming to Ashville to see him when we lived in Chocowinity, NC. He was a fine man. Sincerely, Mike Bickel
