David Earl Fletcher, age 77, passed away peacefully at his home in Flat Rock, NC on December, 14, 2024. He is the son of the late David Hilliard Fletcher and Minnie Burrell Fletcher.

David enjoyed all things related to cars. From auto mechanics, paint and body work, classic muscle cars, with a special interest in Camaros. He was a hard working man and always tried to help anyone he could. David's fondest memories were growing up in the Mill Village of Berkeley and loving every minute on the baseball field. Lastly, he was a United States Marine. Although humble about his service, this was a great topic of many stories and memories. - SEMPER FI.

David is survived by his wife of 36 years, Mary Jane Lindsey Fletcher of Flat Rock and his sister Glenda Pruitt of Mill Spring, NC. He was a beloved father to Kimberly Ann Fletcher of East Flat Rock, Wayne Fletcher (Traci) of Pisgah Forest, Christine Plummer of Campobello, SC and Stephanie Quinn of Columbus.

David was a proud Poppy to Jamie West, Max Fletcher, Alex Waters, Emma and Josh Plummer and Bailey Quinn. And a numerous amount of nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.

A Celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Mountain View Cremation & Funeral Care has the honor of serving the family.
