Beyond the baseball field, Doug found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid fisherman, finding serenity and adventure in the waters he navigated. His happiest moments were spent surrounded by family, sharing laughter and creating memories that will be cherished forever.

Prior to making Asheville his home, Doug resided in Cape Coral, Florida, where he continued to embrace life with the same vigor and enthusiasm that defined him.

Though he has left us, his spirit and legacy will continue to inspire and uplift those who carry his memory in their hearts.
