Obituary For Jean M Fazio
Our dear mother, Jean M. Fazio of Asheville sadly passed away at the age of 93 on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at Western NC Baptist Home.
Previously departed loved ones are her husband, Anthony “Skip” Fazio; her brother, Jack; and her parents, Charles and Ruby Carson McTurk.
Jean is survived by her children, Pat Doherty, Sandra Noto, Peggy Ayers and Anthony Fazio; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She worked for may years as an elementary school teacher while attending college. After graduation from Florida International University, she worked and retired from Jackson Memorial Hospital as a Budget Director.
Jean lived a wonderfully full life - she loved completely, worked hard and really knew how to have a good time.
She made many friends, traveled extensively in her retirement, and was well loved by many.
She will be terribly missed.
