Obituary For Karen Rosenhouse
Karen Rosenhouse, 68 of Asheville, NC formerly of Las Vegas, NV passed away on June 29, 2022 at Mission Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Manuel and Marian Hannah Kent Rosenhouse. She was also preceded in death by her uncles, Bernard Rosenhouse, Leo (Jeanette) Rosenhouse, Irwin Jacob Rosenhouse and Leonard B. Kent (Ida B. Rose); aunts, Jean Claire Kent (Philip Leo Nudelman) and Vera Lucille Kent.
Born in Los Angeles, CA Karen served in the US Army.
Survivors included her daughter, Lisa Smith (Carlos); granddaughters, Sophia Rutherford and Caprice Smith; and dear friends Rita Lance and Hazel Young.
A memorial service with military honors will be held at 2pm on July 21, 2022 at the Western Carolina Veterans Cemetery.

I'm so thankful that I got to know Karen. I'm more thankful that her only child Lisa Smith and her family were able to take care of her and spend time with her up until her last days. God always gives us what we need. There is no question that this wasn't in God's plan. May you rest in Heavenly Peace. Love you Karen.

Karen was gifted with the most striking eyes. She had a dry sense of humor, and she always shared her snacks with me. Ms. Karen, I called her, easy to talk to and a calm demeanor. What a special gift to everyone that got to know her. I am so grateful to have had the time I did with her. Love you, Karen. ♥️
