Obituary For Larry Wayne Dean

Larry Wayne Dean, 72 of Clyde, NC went to Heaven on March 17, 2022 at the Elizabeth House. Born in Jacksonville, FL he was a son of the late Thomas Jefferson and Ruth Meredith Waldron Dean. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Lester Yeomans.

A US Navy Disabled Veteran, he was also a Neptune Beach Police Officer for 32 years. Larry worked for the Jacksonville Sheriff's office for eight years prior to retiring. He enjoyed traveling, making memories, and camping. Larry loved cooking big breakfasts and spending time with his friends and family.

His life will forever be cherished by his wife, Denise Durden Dean; siblings, Tommy Dean(Diane), Sharon Bowers(Bob), Debbie Howard and Terry Dean; children, Robert Dean(Angie), Kristen Gibson(Mike), Brian Durden Sr (Brandice), Krystal Durden (Jeremy), and Kristopher Huggins (Colby); and his grandchildren, Caleb, Harrison, Lexi, Brian Jr., Hunter, Zachary, Dustin, Jacob, and Levi.

A memorial service will be held at Pinnacle Church in Canton, NC on Saturday, March 26 2022, at 1 PM.
