Obituary For Sarah "Sally" Bauernfeind

Sarah (Sally) Bauernfeind, 76, passed away peacefully at her home in Arden on July 9.

She is survived by her husband, George, her six beautiful children and their wonderful spouses, and her thirteen grandchildren, ranging in age from five to 29.

In addition to her family, Sally loved all animals, and in recent years had taken up horseback riding again, a favorite activity of hers as a teenager. With riding lessons for the two of them, a few falls off the horses but plenty of encouragement to get back on, Sally achieved her dream of riding the trails of the Biltmore Estate with George.

A celebration of life service will be held at New Hope Presbyterian Church on July 23rd at 2:00 p.m. It will be livestreamed for the many friends and family out of town. The website with the relevant links is https://www.newhopepcusaasheville.org/.

The American Cancer Society is suggested for anyone who wishes to make a donation.
