Obituary For Thomas Allen Sparger

Thomas Allen Sparger, born December 20, 1983, in Henderson County, NC, bid farewell to this world on February 28, 2024, in Buncombe County, NC. He was a Deli Clerk at Ingles and took great pride in his work. Thomas, a lover of Legos, video games, and collecting movies, lived a life full of simple joys and cherished moments.

Survived by his mother, Alice Morgan, and her husband Chad of Hendersonville; father, Thomas Joseph Sparger of Wilmington; sisters, Phoebe Gilbert and husband Scott of Wilmington, Christina Lynn Sparger of Brevard; brother, Kyle Sparger and wife Brittany of Spartanburg; and grandparents, Willie and Shirley Morgan, Thomas leaves behind a legacy of warmth and kindness that will be deeply missed.

Beloved son, brother, cousin, and friend, Thomas's infectious laughter and gentle spirit touched the hearts of all who knew him. His memory will forever be engraved in the minds of those fortunate enough to have shared in his company.

As we bid farewell to Thomas, may we find solace in the memories we hold dear and the love that surrounds us. Though he may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the hearts of those who loved him.

I dont know what to say.. Thomas was my friend and couzen.. we were close ever since we were little even though we lived so far away from each other. We were penpals for a while too.. as time went on we drifted apart.. but i never stopped thinking about him.. now i wish i would have contacted him more often.. life is like that. You never know what you have till its gone.. i remember when we were little we were playing video games.. Thomas was sitting on my bean bag.. for some reason i decided to jump from the couch onto the bean bag and what happened then was Thomas flying through the air and slamming on the ground. Kinda like those airbags that they use to launch people into the water..lol my god we laughed so hard.. a few years ago i finally got to see Thomas again and it was like we never were apart.. this fucking sucks..life is such a bitch.. its not right and not fair.. ill see you soon enough Thomas.. love you big guy..

Thomas was an amazing friend. I met him when I first moved to North Carolina. He was a great guy to hang out with. Definitely down to earth and a kind soul. I miss the simple times we had when we would play video games together or head to the mall. He was a one of a kind guy. I miss you my brother. Until we meet again. - see you later space cowboy

He always wanted to show me all of his collections, games, swords and knives, and we always got a game of Chess in, witch he constantly beat me at. I'm going to miss him very very much.

We are sorry to hear about Thomas's passing. Thomas lived across the street from me while we both went to Atkinson Elementary School. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
