Obituary For Wanda Jones

Wanda Jones, 88, of Arden passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 3, 2022. She was a daughter of the late Delvie and Creola Whitwell Braschler. She was also preceded in death by her two husbands, James P. Jones and Eldon Ward; and her sister, Joy Hellert. Wanda was born in Missouri and spent her later years in North Carolina with her husband, Eldon. She greatly enjoyed quilting, gardening and painting. Surviving to cherish her memory are her three sons, Gary, Preston and Bill Jones; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. A celebration of her life will be held at 2pm on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Ardenwoods Retirement Community, 2400 Appalachian Blvd, Arden, NC 28704.A family committal will be held in Largo, Florida at Serenity Gardens on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at 10AM.

I know my Grandmother is in a better place. I will always remember visiting her home in North Carolina as a child. Picking berries to make cobblers and fishing at the trout pond. She will be greatly missed!
